Srinagar-Sharjah flight, cargo operations resume

Srinagar, Mar 16: After remaining suspended for a while now, the international flight operations today resumed at Srinagar International Airport with Go First flight G81595 operating on the Srinagar-Sharjah sector.
“The flight was carrying 108 passengers and is also the first international flight after the inauguration of the International Cargo operations from our airport,” officials from the airport said.
They said that the Srinagar-Sharjah flight will now be regularly operating every Tuesday and Wednesday at 1945 hours. “The flight can carry a maximum of three tonnes of cargo to Sharjah.”
The officials said that the doors have now opened wide for the export of industrial, agricultural, and handicraft products. “We call upon all the business houses and exporters of Kashmir to make full use of the facility,” the officials said.
