JAMMU, June 17: Asserting that a false propaganda has been leashed out by some disgruntled persons, that the Congress party is behind the protest launched by the Coordination Committee (CC) on AIIMS, Shri Ram Sena (SRS) State president, Rajiv Mahajan appealed the public not to be swayed away by the designs of mischievous elements who are hell bent upon to foil the strong agitation launched by all people of Jammu region.
Mahajan warned the perpetrators of false propaganda to desist from misdemeanor, as it is not going to benefit them in any way. Clearing the doubt of public, Mahajan said that the Coordination Committee on AIIMS is a conglomerate of more than 75 organizations comprising of political parties, social organizations, religious organizations, Bar Association, traders organization, transporters, civil society and many others.
The agitation launched under the banner of Coordination Committee on AIIMS is the united voice of Jammu region people and not of Congress party alone. Mahajan said Congress party is also a constituent of the Coordination Committee like other political parties that include Panthers party, National Conference, NCP and others.
