JAMMU, Apr 27: Shri Ram Sena (SRS) today strongly criticized BJP National president Amit Shah for befooling countrymen on abrogation of Article 370 from J&K after betraying people of the State on the same issue despite including it in party manifesto in 2014 Assembly and Parliamentary elections.
In a press statement issued here, SRS State president Rajiv Mahajan, while hitting out at BJP, said that they are befooling the people of J&K as well as of country. He reminded people that ever since BJP came into existence, it carried Article 370 issue on its top list throughout the country but when it came in power at center, it made a big U-turn.
“Earlier, BJP misguided the Jammu people in the name of Article 370 and after seeking votes from them, they shelved the issue to remain in power,” he said. Stating that BJP is befooling people of the State on Article 370, Mahajan urged the voters not to fall in the BJP’s “trap” and vote in favour of development, peace and prosperity.
