Srinagar, June 18: State Road SRTC Transport Corporation buses that ferried hundreds of Kashmiri Pandits to Kheerbhawani yesterday for annual mela left some of the pilgrims in Srinagar by denying them bus facility.
Around 65 SRTC buses ferried pilgrims to the Kheer-bhwani yesterday from Jammu for the annual pilgrimage but left around 100 of them, mostly elderly people in Srinagar today.
These Kashmiri Pandits were waiting for the day at TRC for the buses which never arrived. One of them said: “We were asked to reach TRC but no bus was available here.”
However, they said that the authorities have promised them that buses would be provided them tomorrow.
