JAMMU, Dec 5: All J&K SRTC Volunteer Retired Employees (SRTCVRE) Association held a protest demonstration near Press Club, under the leadership of Dev Raj Bali, president VRS Union, today.
The protesters strongly criticized the attitude of the Coalition Government and specially transport higher authorities for not fulfilling their demands which are pending for last five years.
They have appealed the Central Government to earmark the special package only for the clearance of dues of VRS/GHS employees of the J&K SRTC.
Others present in the demonstration were Balwinder Singh, J D Singh, Gulshan Singh, D N Sharma, Surjit Singh, Sain Mohd, Kulbir Singh and Sat Bhushan (Topi).
