SRTC workers to go on strike on Nov 25

JAMMU, Nov 22:  Employees of J&K State Road Transport Corporation (SRTC) have decided to observe one-day strike in support of their demand on November 25.
The members of  SRTC Employees Union in a meeting held under the chairmanship of  Raja Muneer Ahmed here unanimously resolved to go on one-day strike on November 25 if the SRTC Management failed to revoke its anti-employee order. The meeting discussed the recent development in which SRTC management issued order to withdraw the services of conductor-cum-clerks  and deputing them on active duties of conductor.
Strongly opposing the order, these members demanded that order be revoked in the interest of the employees.  Prominent among others present in the meeting included Amrik Singh Sasan,  Pawan Sharma and C L Raina.
