JAMMU , Sept. 1: Shiv Sena ( Bala Sahib Thackery) will take the Charri yatra to holy cave of Mata Vaishno Devi on the occasion of Navratra festival October 1 this year.
This was stated at a press conference held at Bari Brahmana by Shiv Sena president Dimpy Kohli along with other office bearers of his Party.
He said the Chhari yatra will start from M. A Stadium, Jammu.
Kohli said that like every year this time also on the eve of Navratras Charri Yatra will leave for holy shrine at Katra and thousands of devotes will take part in it to maintain the tradition.
He said that some anti social elements are misguiding the general public about the Charri Yatra and are misusing the name of Shiv Sena for organizing Charri Yatra to holy town of Katra. He said that party has nominated senior leader Sandeep Bhagat as incharge of Yatra and will arrange everything for the smooth conduct of the yatra.
He made an appeal to district administration to cooperate with the party in organizing this Charri Yatra .
He also made an appeal to general public to took part in Charri Yatra and seek blessings from Maa Durga.
Raj Singh and other Sena leaders were present in the press conference.
