JAMMU, Sept 13: Shiv Sena activists protested at Bari Brahmana Main Chowk today demanding immediate revocation of Service Tax on Mata Vaishno Devi pilgrims.
The protestors shouting slogans against the Finance Minister and the Government termed the levying of Service Tax on the pilgrims by the Finance Ministry a draconian decision and warned to launch agitation in case the same was not revoked immediately. The protest was led by Raja Singh Charak. The protestors also disrupted movement of vehicular traffic.
