RAMBAN, Mar 19: In the series of its welfare activities for far-flung deprived and poor people of the area, one more medical and veterinary camp was organized today by 42nd Battalion of Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) under its Civic Action Programme at village Bhoonbari in tehsil Batote.
The camp was organized under the auspicious command of Sham Kapoor, Commandant of the Battalion.
During the camp, about 500 patients including men and women were examined and treated by a team of doctors. The needy patients were also provided medicines free of cost.
Cattle and livestock of the people were also treated by veterinary doctors.
Dr YJK Singh, MKS Munda, Anuj Kumar, Lalit Kumar and SOs also participated in the camp.
