NEW DELHI, Apr 2: A delegation of Save Sharda Committee Kashmir (SSCK) called on Union Minister, Dr. Jitendra Singh, here, today and briefed him about the developments on inauguration of Sharda Yatra Temple at Line of Control (LoC) in Teetwal area of Kashmir.
The Committee Head & Founder, Ravinder Pandita handed over Prashad and holy water of Kishenganga river to the Minister. The Committee members briefed Dr Jitendra Singh of the recent developments at Teetwal Kashmir and apprised him of the future course of action.
The Minister congratulated SSCK on successful inauguration of temple, one of the finest in recent century that paves way to reopening of Sharda Peeth in PoK. He also expressed his satisfaction the way Sharda Committee is reclaiming the lost heritage in Kashmir. It may be recalled that Sharda Yatra temple was e -inaugurated by Home Minister, Amit Shah in presence of Lt. Governor, J&K , Manoj Sinha on March 22 recently.
Other members of delegation included Surinder Mirza and Shrawan Pandita.
