JAMMU, May 12: Shiv Sena and Dogra Front (SSDF) under the leadership of its president Ashok Gupta took out a procession against the Government’s failure to provide uninterrupted power and regular water supply.
Hundreds of workers of SSDF participated in the procession, which was taken out from Raghunath Mandir and passed through Hari Market, Bus Stand and culminated at Press Club.
Addressing the activists, Gupta said though the PHE and Power Departments were receiving heavy taxes from the public, yet they were not providing services smoothly.
He added that the over taxing by the Power Department on power had made difficult for industrialists to run their industries.
He warned both the Departments that if the regular supply of water and electricity was not provided they would be forced to Gherao the Departments.
