SSF adopts poor girls for education

UDHAMPUR, Oct 28: Sarveshwar Smile Foundation (SSF) adopted poor girls from Meer area of Tehsil Pahncheri for education up to class 12.
SSF, a J&K based (Section 8) company engaged in social activities also started another stitching and sewing training centre for women at village Meer.
The programme was inaugurated by Jyoti Pathania, District Mission Coordinator who highlighted the importance of such training for women.
Pooja Gupta, SSF chairperson and social worker informed how these free training programmes at doorsteps of women residing in and around village Chulana, Meer and Saddal in Pancheri helped them in up-gradation of their skills.
She also announced about adoption of 10 poorest of poor girl students from the area for free of cost education and uniform till class 12.
Pooja also said that SSF will be starting food processing activity at village Treli in Samba.
Dr. Rakesh Gupta, SSF Project Director highlighted the benefits of skill trainings for women.
