JAMMU, Apr 30: A free medical camp organized by Sri Sukhmani Hospital (SSH) of Ayurvedic Medicine & Research Dera Bassi in association with Sri Sukhmani Dental College & Hospital was held here today.
The camp was organized to help the poor and needy residents of Dera Bassi and nearby areas, who otherwise don’t have an access to medical facilities free of cost.
Speaking on the occasion, Chairman, SSH, Kanwaljit Singh said that Sri Sukhmani Hospial of Ayurvedic Medicine & Research Dera Bassi is fully equipped with all the latest machines and expert team of Doctors. The residents of Dera Bassi and nearby villages can easily seek facilities and health aid from our Hospital.
Damanjit Singh Director SSGI applauds the enterprise taken by the team of Doctors of BAMS College, for helping the local poor residents and spreading awareness in basic principles of Ayurvedic Medicine.
He assures that more and more free check up camps will be organized by Sri Sukhmani Group in future.
Prof. Rashpal Singh, Chief Administrator SSGI was also present on this occasion and motivated the doctors for this noble cause.
The special team of doctors from the Ayurvedic Medicine and Dentistry Department under the patronage of Chairman SSGI Kanwaljit Singh examined more than 150 patients.
The team of doctors diagnosed various common diseases and also advised the residents about various precautionary measures and lifestyle changes.
