JAMMU, May 28: The dialysis operation which was suspended in Government Super Speciality Hospital (SSH) Jammu on Tuesday morning due to some fault in RO plant of the Hospital, will be re-started from tomorrow morning as the fault in the RO Plant has been fixed.
Medical Superintendent, SSH Jammu, Dr Arun Sharma said that the engineer of the company as well as required part which was to be replaced, reached Jammu late last evening. He said that till 10 this morning, the fault in the RO plant was fixed and thereafter, the process of servicing of the entire RO plant was started which was completed till 4 PM.
He said the RO plant is now in fully functional condition and from tomorrow morning, the routine dialysis operation will be started in the Hospital. Dr Sharma said that it was never easy to make the RO plant functional in such a short time even in normal condition but became possible only by personal efforts of Principal and Dean, GMC Jammu, Dr Nasib Chand Digra and Dr Yashpal Sharma, MD, J&K Medical Supplies Corporation Limited (JKMSCL).
Dr Sharma informed that 7 very-sick patients of SSH Jammu were given dialysis free of cost in ASCOMS & Hospital, Sidhra on Wednesday and 11 underwent dialysis today.
Meanwhile, Dr Nasib Chand Digra and Dr Arun Sharma separately presented appreciation certificates to the company engineers for their prompt response and quick service even in lockdown restrictions so that patients do not suffer any more.
