SSP ANTF educates students against drug use

JAMMU, Aug 12: The staff of Police Station ANTF Jammu today conducted an awareness programme at Chirag Public School Bathindi, Jammu in which 200 students along with teaching staff participated.
The awareness regarding hazardous effects of the drug abuse physically, mentally and financially was shared among the students by SSP ANTF Raj Kumar. They were advised to stay away from drugs as the use of drug will completely ruin the life and spoil future of the young generation.
Further students as well as teaching staff were motivated to participate in extracurricular programmes and sports activities, to prevent youth from switching to drugs, as drug consumption make students mentally and physically weak. Students were briefed to remain away from bad company.
“Drugs may look attractive initially but it has the capacity to destroy the future of a persons. Thus, we should say “no to drugs”, ANTF SSP Said.
The staff of the school and students were advised to share information with ANTF J&K if any drug peddler is operating in their area.
DySP ANTF Shamsher Singh, Inspector Nayat Ali, School chairman Haji Bashir Ahmed and Principal Puja Datta also attended the function.
