RAMBAN, June 3: Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Ramban Anuj Kumar today chaired a meeting at DPO Ramban to take stock of security arrangements in connection with the forthcoming Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra.
The meeting, attended by Gaurav Mahajan (Additional SP Ramban), Om Parkash (Deputy SP Headquarters Ramban), Nihar Ranjan (SDPO Gool), Manjeet Singh (SDPO Banihal) and all SHOs & Incharge PPs of district Ramban, also discussed the preparedness of deployment ahead of the counting of votes tomorrow.
The SSP Ramban also took stock of the deployment of security forces at Yatris Niwas, Lodgment centres and Langer points. He also emphasized on keeping alert and maintaining vigil over several anti-social elements to ensure a trouble-free Amarnath Yatra.
