KISHTWAR, June 23: Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Shafqat Hussain Batt accompanied by Additional SP Kishtwar Rajinder Singh held a meeting with senior citizens and distributed COVID kits among them.
The meeting was attended by the DySP Headquarters Devindar Singh, DySP DAR Dhreej Singh, Inspector Abid Bukhari, Inspector Dilraj Singh and other officers of District Police Kishtwar.
In the meeting, SSP Kishtwar Shafqat Hussain Batt apprised the participants regarding motive of meeting and thereafter the participants were asked to share their suggestions in view of prevailing situation of COVID-19.
The suggestions of the participants were given patient hearing by the SSP Kishtwar and assured them that their suggestions will be implemented on ground for the betterment of society.
Later, SSP Kishtwar distributed COVID Kits among the senior citizens and also advised them to educate others to maintain the COVID-19 appropriate behaviour so as to contain the spread of deadly virus in the district.
He appealed to the general Public to cooperate with police and follow the SOPs of COVID-19 issued by the administration. SSP Kishtwar also warned of strict action against the violators.
