JAMMU, Sept 18: As a gesture of pivotal role played by police officials of District Jammu who worked as Corona warriors during the pandemic situation, Managing Director of Pagyal ROs Atul Pagyal provided 30 ROs to District Police Jammu.
In its noble endeavour to serve society and to reach out the needy people, to maintain genuine wellness and hygiene among the police officials along with general public, 30 RO water purifiers were distributed among various PS, PPs and BPPs of District Jammu at DPO Jammu.
Distribution function was organised in DPO Jammu in a simple and impressive way and ROs were distributed in presence of SSP Jammu Chandan Kohli, and MD of Pagyal ROs Atul Pagyal.
On the occasion the SSP Jammu said that water purifiers will not only provide clean and purified water to the police personnel but also to various complainants and general visitors in the far flung and border areas.
SP Hqrs Ramnish Gupta, SP South Deepak Digra and other police officers/officials were also present in the function.
Kohli gave vote of thanks to Pagyal ROs for their kind gesture. He said that Police is playing a crucial role in contributing to the efforts to control the disease, promoting safer communities, and fighting criminals who take advantage of the outbreak,along with maintaining public order, and assisting administration and coordinating with health department in identifying cases and their origin i.e contact tracing he further added that District police will continue to work with same zeal and zest for the welfare of people in future.
