KATHUA, Dec 10: Aiming to keeping the youth and students away from drug abuse, Govt. Degree College Marheen organised a drug awareness program in collaboration with Civil Society of the area.
During the program, a lecture was delivered by SSP Kathua RC Kotwal about the ill effects of drug abuses and ways to avoid becoming victims of drug abuse. The SSP Kathua also appealed the youth and students to refrain from drug abuse and advise the students to channelised their energy in sport activities. In his address, the SSP Kathua also awared the youth/students about the Cyber Crimes and frauds related to finance, hacking, spam calls and other fake Social media networking sites.
On the conclusion of the event, Kotwal appreciated the Principal and other Staff members of Govt. Degree College Marheen for conducting the drug abuse program to educate the Students about the ill effects of drug abuse.
