SSP Kishtwar reviews security scenario, distributes chairs to school

KISHTWAR, July 5: SSP Kishtwar, Abdul Qayoom here today visited Palmar area to review the security scenario and to conduct comprehensive security arrangements for maintaining peace and security in the region.
As part of the visit, a Police Community Partnership Group (PCPG) meeting was held at Government Higher Secondary School Bhata to strengthen collaboration between Police and the community.
School staff, DDC members, prominent citizens and public representatives were present in the meeting.
On this occasion the SSP distributed 50 chairs to the school under Civic Action Programme of J&K Police to enhance educational infrastructure and to foster positive relations between the community and the Police. SSP Kishtwar assured locals of the area that their issues related to Police will be prioritized while matters concerning civil administration will be taken up with the relevant departments for prompt resolution.
He encouraged students to set clear goals and work diligently to achieve them.
The SSP emphasized J&K Police’s commitment to provide career counseling and support especially to students from remote areas and urged the students to use social media constructively and avoid drug use.
He asked the public and students, including the school staff, to avoid involvement in criminal or subversive activities.
