SSP nominates Harjot from Srinagar constituency

JAMMU, Mar 5: Sainik Samaj Party (SSP) has nominated Harjot Singh Sawhney as their candidate from Srinagar constituency for Lok Sabha elections.
The announcement in this regard was made by Col SS Pathania, Chief Convenor and President, Sainik Samaj Party, JKUT.
In a press statement issued, Pathania said that Harjot is a true son of the soil has extremely good grasp of the political, socio and economical situation of JKUT in general and Kashmir in particular. He is dynamic entrepreneur who has strong ties with the people spread across Kashmir, by virtue of being an army contractor and supplier.
“He has created history by being the first ever candidate contesting Parliament election from his home turf,” said Pathania.
Pathania said that SSP is a party registered with Election Commission of India, has already announced its first list of candidates for Parliament elections and will be contesting all five seats in JKUT and one in Ladakh.
