JAMMU, June 17: SSP Police Control Room (PCR) Jammu, Ashok Kumar Sharma today reviewed security situation and other arrangements for annual Amarnath ji pilgrimage starting July 2 and will continue till August 29.
The meeting was attended by Additional SP PCR Jammu, DySP Deployment PCR Jammu, DySP Headquarters PCR Jammu, NGOs and other staff of PCR Jammu including Joint Police Control Room comprising of Army, BSF, CRPF, ITBP etc.
During the meeting, the officers put forth their problems, which were heard patiently and on spot redressal of the problems were made. It was also emphasized upon each official to remain extra vigil, careful and maintain close co-operation with their sister agencies to ensure smooth mobilization of the yatra conveys.
Mr Sharma asked the officers and officials to remain extra vigilant in their respective works. He also stressed upon them to perform their duties with zeal and zest and maintain better policing and deal smoothly with the general public.
Besides, the SSP PCR also briefed the officers and officials of the PCR Jammu to remain more attentive to address the grievances of the general people especially in Dial-100 sections. He said the information received would be communicated to the concerned quarters forthwith for their immediate action especially during the yatra.
