SAMBA, Sept 11: Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Samba, Benam Tosh today pinned rank to newly promoted Head Constables at an impressive piping ceremony held at District Police Headquarters here.
The officials who were decorated among others with Head Constable rank by SSP Samba are HC Ashwani Kumar, HC Ajay Kumar, HC Rajesh Kumar, HC Raj Singh, HC Surjeet Khajuria, HC Kuldeep Raj, HC Rajinder Kumar, HC Gopal, HC Rajinder Kumar and HC Kuldeep Singh.
Forty two Selection Grade Constables of Samba district have been recently elevated to the rank of Head Constables who have been felicitated on their promotion.
The piping ceremony was attended by Additional SP, Samba, Surinder Choudhary, Deputy SP, Garu Ram Bhardwaj, Deputy SP, Deepak Jasrotia and other officers and officials of District Police Samba.
On the occasion, SSP Samba, Benam Tosh congratulated the promoted officials and their families and expressed hope that they would continue to work with the same zeal and dedication in future also. SSP Samba further said that Head Constable rank is very important rank in belt forces as far as shouldering of responsibilities are concerned and Head Constables have been performing outstanding duties everywhere.
