BARAMULLA, Feb 15: SSP Baramulla, Amod Ashok Nagpure here today chaired a meeting with all SDPOs, IC PCs, SHOs and IC PPs of Baramulla and reviewed general crime status, UA (P) Act/NDPS Act cases and their status.
Additional SP Baramulla, R.K Parihar, Dy.SP Headquarters Baramulla, Sajjad Bukhari and Dy.SP DAR DPL, Peerzada Aijaz Ahmad also attended the meeting.
During meeting, the SSP sought reports from officers on their functioning and status of different tasks which were deliberated during previously held meetings.
He directed the officers to complete pending crime cases and ensure smooth implementation of CCTNS project.
The SSP stressed upon making strategies and plans to fight crime in more effective manner.
He directed for effective safety to PRIs and management and asked the officers to review the progress of crime investigations regularly for better results.
The officers apprised the SSP regarding their requirements and also briefed about the measures formulated to enhance efficiency on different policing fronts.
They were emphasized to work with zeal and professionalism while dealing with all aspects of policing.
It was stressed upon all the participants to enhance police-public relations and deal firmly with anti-national and anti-social elements.
