SSP Samba retires as DIG, others given warm send off

JAMMU, Dec 2: Israr Khan, SSP Samba, was promoted and posted as Deputy Inspector General, Training, Headquareters. The order to this effect was issued by the Goverenment on November 29, 2013, just a day prior to his retirement on December 1, 2013.
A multifaceted personality and a highly competent senior police officer Israr Khan, popularly known as Laly Khan remained SSP Samba for three years. Mr Khan held various important posts during his service tenure and got due recognition at all the places of postings.
Meanwhile a warm farewell was accorded to Mr Ravinder Kumar Abrol, Headmaster, Government High School Pathi (Udhampur) who retired on superannuation on November 30, by the students and staff of the school. The speakers uplauded the services rendered by the retiring officer for upgrading standard of education. Al wished him a happy and healthy life after retirement.
A warm and affectionate send off was accorded to Mrs Chander Kala Sharma, Zonal Education Officer Kathua by teachers and staff of Kathua zone. CEO and DPO spoke high of Mrs Sharma and wished her a happy and healthy post retirement life.
