JAMMU, Aug 6: Dr Koushal Sharma, SSP Traffic Police City Jammu flagged off the “Har Ghar Tiranga” bike rally of Traffic cops and TBRC Bikers from Police Martyrs Memorial today.
Raj Pal Singh ASP Traffic Jammu, Neeraj Paddyar, DySP traffic city Jammu, Bikram Kumar DySP Traffic City South Jammu, Farha Nishat and DySP traffic City North Jammu were also present on the occasion.

The route of this rally covered most parts of Jammu city from Police Martyr Memorial Railway to GHSS Bhalwal via Valmiki Chowk, Gole Market, main stop Gandhi Nagar, Satwari, Bikram Chowk, university road, PHQ chowk, Gujjar Nagar, DC office, Raghunath Bazaar, City Chowk, Shalamar, Indira Chowk, BC road, Bus stand, Bakshi Nagar, Vigilance rotary, Kachi Chowni, CPO Chowk, Ambphalla, Janipur, Bantalab and finally concluded at Govt higher secondary school Bhalwal.
“Har Ghar Tiranga” is a campaign under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav to encourage people to bring the Tiranga home and to hoist it to mark the 75th years of Independence. The idea behind the initiative is to invoke the feelings of patriotism in the hearts of the people and to promote awareness about the Indian National Flag.
Dr Koushal Sharma, SSP Traffic addressed the students of GHSS Bhalwal, highlighting the significance of our flag as unifying force in India.
“As we proudly hoist our National flag, we also reflect and uphold our national values of oneness, harmony and universal brotherhood”, he suggested.
