SSP visits Dachhan, reviews security scenario

KISHTWAR, July 14: Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Shafqat Hussain Batt visited Dachhan in order to review the security scenario of police station, police pickets, religious guards & SOG camps.
SSP Kishtwar also held meeting at village Soundar area of Dachhan, while following social distancing norms and other protocols of COVID-19.
The meeting was attended by the respectable persons, Sarpanches, Panches and youth of the area.
During the meeting, the participants raised various issues and SSP gave patient hearing and assured the participants that the police related issues will be met on priority and issues related to civil administration will be taken up with the concerned department through district Administration for their early redressal.
During the meeting, SSP Kishtwar Shafqat Hussain Batt also aware the participants about evil activities and urged them to avoid drug addiction, alcoholism and to refrain from indulging in anti national activities. The participants were advised to remain alert in this regard and also seek the assistance of participants by sharing information of those miscreants whose activities are anti social in the society so that police may take action as per law.
Later, SSP Kishtwar also met with the members of Shri Hud Mata Yatra and reviewed the arrangements. Besides, the concerned road construction agency engaged in construction of Dangdoru-Lopara road was also advised for speedy completion of the ongoing road work.
On return, the SSP Kishtwar inspected various police pickets, religious guards and SOG camp falling enroute and briefed the manpower about their duties, so that peace and tranquillity of the area is maintained.
