JAMMU, Dec 31: In the year 2024, Samooh Theatre (ST) organised various Theatre and Cultural activities including its participation in the various National Theatre Festivals.
ST in association with Srikula Foundation organised Kashmir literature festival at SKICC, Srinagar, besides Kashmir Theatre Seminar wherein the veteran theatre personalities were honoured.
The play Andha Yug was performed at the National Theatre festival at Patiala, while the play ‘Chitta Singh’ was performed in the various National Theatre festivals including Kashmir, Bathinda, Kullu and Himachal Pradesh .
On the eve of Gandhi Jayanti, ST organised a 15 day children theatre workshop exclusively for the Kashmiri children.
In the month of September, ST organised a Jammu Culture Festival while a play was performed in Poonch on the occasion of Poonch Link-up Day.
On the occasion of World Theatre Day, ST organised a solo one act play Festival at Writers Club, Jammu, besides, organised various Nukkad plays on the different social themes under the direction of Ravinder Sharma.
