Jammu, Nov 29: St Peters High School today celebrated its Annual Sports Day with fanfare at M A Stadium here.
Commissioner, Jammu Municipality, Kiran Wattal was the chief guest on the occasion. He alongwith senior faculty inaugurated the event with handing over of a ‘torch’ to the participants.
Students as well as police band presented march past on the occasion, while the chief guest took the salute.
Later cultural items and aerobics presented by the School kids enthralled the audience at the jam-packed stadium.
The winners and runners up players/ teams of various sports events were also presented trophies and mementoes by the school authorities.
Speaking on the occasion, Wattal highlighted the importance of the school in the life and asked students to adopt sports for healthy lifestyle.
