UDHAMPUR, June 14: Twenty students from St Stephens College, New Delhi visited the Army Units and parts of J&K on a tour.
Comprising of 10 girls and 10 boys, along with one teacher, the tour was marked by their adventurous journey to different parts of J&K, in which they not only interacted with local students and civil dignitaries, but also visited many picturesque places of J&K and participated in various Army training activities.
The group interacted with Chief of Staff, Headquarters Northern Command, Lieutenant General GS Dhilion and conveyed their high regards for the people of J&K and the Indian Army.
Dr Manjula Singh, a faculty member, while narrating her experiences stated that the visit has left fond memories which will be cherished for times to come.
She added that the students have gained invaluable knowledge of the rich heritage and traditions of J&K.
