JAMMU, May 4: As a safety regulation, Higher Education Department has asked all staff members to ensure that all electrical/electronic devices such as Computers, Laptops, Chargers, UPS, CPUs, Printers, etc are properly powered off before leaving the office.
The direction has been issued in pursuance to instructions of the Information Technology Department’s recent circular and due to the recent fire incident at the Civil Secretariat in Jammu on December 28, 2022.
According to the order, the General Administration Department has created a list of safety regulations to be followed by all Departments in both Srinagar and Jammu Civil Secretariats.
