POONCH, June 1: In view of the shortage of teaching and non-teaching staff, the students of Govt High School Chhamber in district Poonch are suffering badly.
Locals of the area said that Headmaster along with five Master grade posts of teaching staff are vacant here due to which education of students is suffering. They urged authorities to fill up these posts. Even there is no clerk in the school and post of peon is also vacant.
Zonal Education Office, when contacted said that all the five teacher grade posts have already filled up, while five Master grade posts will get filled by the competent authority – Director School Education. The list is likely to be issued within a day or two.
