It is heartening to know that Indonesia has released a special stamp on Ramayana commemorating the 70th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations with India.
The stamp is going to further strengthen the friendship bond between the two countries who are centres of art and culture.
It also underlines the fact that the epic Ramayana around which Indian civilisation is woven has made a remarkable impression on other civilisation as well.
There are many moral and social lessons in this great epic which need to adopted for the welfare of mankind, particularly at a time when the world is passing through a difficult phase.
Besides, the stamp also underlines the fact that love and affection spreads when people of different faiths respect each other. The stamp will certainly be a bond of love between India and Indonesia.
