Start restoration work on war footing: Mula Ram

JAMMU, Sept 8: Former Minister and Vice President JKPCC Mula Ram visited Niki Tawi, Khandwal, Lalyal, Nadwal, Mangoo Chak, Akal and several other areas of Raipur Domana Constituency and took stock of the problems being faced by the people.
He said that Niki Tawi bridge has got damaged, bund along the Niki Tawi has been washed away completely and the crops have been damaged completely. The roads at various places have been washed away, many houses have also been collapsed and many others partially damaged, he said, adding that all the civic facilities such as electricity, drinking water and road connectivity has been disrupted and the general public is suffering hardships.
He urged upon the concerned authorities to start restoration work on war footing manner besides teams should be deployed to assess the loss suffered by the people.
He was accompanied by Tallinter Singh, President BCC, Pardeep Kumar, Ramesh Singh, Deva Singh, Managat Ram, Mohinder Singh Chib, Raj Kumar, etc.
