‘Start work on Chenab water supply project’

JAMMU, Feb 8:  Sunil Dimple, president ,Jammu West Assembly Movement led protest demonstration alleging  that  no development work took place during the BJP-PDP 10 months governance and the condition of the roads, lanes, drains is dilapidated and the people are without basic amenities and facing traffic jams.
Addressing protestors, Dimple demanded Governor Vohra to solve the traffic problem of Jammu city and start the construction work of the flyovers at Rehari Chungi and Jewal chowk.
Dimple also urged the Governor for the construction of alternative four way circular road from Amphalla  Manda to High Court  Janipur, to Roop Nagar, Bantalab  and from Jewal Chowk to Talab Tillo via Bhagwati Nagar -Canal Road to ease the traffic rush problem  on these roads.
Dimple said Jammu city is facing huge scarcity of drinking water and erratic power supply and appealed the Governor to order start the work on the Chenab water supply project.
He also appealed the Governor N N vohra to dissolve the present hung  Assembly and hold the fresh Assembly election” for the stable and popular Government in the State.
He reiterated for the grant of District Status to the West Assembly constituency and bifurcation into two Assembly segments as it is the largest constituency of the State.
Large number of traders and residents of Janipur, Sarwal, Rehari, Bakshi Nagar, Talab Tillo, Resham Ghar, Krishna Nagar, Amphalla and Canal Road joined the protest demonstration.
