Start work on Rown Domel to Ramnagar and Sira to Shiv Gali roads: Pathania

RAMNAGAR, Oct 5: Ranbir Singh Pathania, Spokesperson BJP today demanded for early starting the work on Rown Domel to Ramnagar and Sira to Shiv Gali roads.
Addressing to the party workers, Pathania said that a multi crore project costing Rupee 22.59 crores under PMGSY upgradation have been ultimately finalised for upgradation of Rown-Ramnagar road. It is in the same vein that another project, Sira to Shiv Gali on Dudu-SudhMahadev axis costing Rupee 53.99 crores stands sanctioned. The allotment process of both the projects is pending in Civil Secretariat at the end of Administrative Secretary PWD.
While Roun-Ramnagar road stands transferred from PWD to PMGSY resulting in even minor repairs have not been done for almost one year which led to deterioration of the road. The local commuters are facing lot of difficulties in traveling the distance from Rown to Ramnagar. The road acts as a lifeline for almost two lac people.
On the occasion a deputation from Dudu Basantgarh congratulated Pathania for his sterling efforts in getting sanctioned and now getting completed also a bridge over Chhatriari Nalah. It had been a perennial source of accidents where many precious lives had been gone in the past. Now a motorable bridge is put across it shall act as a boon for the local people.
Among others who were present included Mool Raj DDC Ramnagar-I, Jattu Ram DDC Ramnagar-II, Benti Devi Chairman MC Ramnagar, Virinder Singh Mandal Vice President, Prem Singh Salathia, Prof Sunil Bhardwaj, Rameez Sheikh, Raj Gopal, Karan Singh, Jagmohan, Kuldeep Sharma, Hans Raj and Sukhdev Singh.
