SAMBA, Aug 1: A protest demonstration was held by State Central Labour Union a Trade Union of National Conference (NC) in front of Assistant Labour Commissioner’s Office here today against Management of Intex Technology Factory, Bari Brahmana against its decision regarding retrenchment of over 100 laborers from the factory.
The protest was led by president of the Labour Union, Nar Singh. They demanded that the factory should not be closed and laborers working in it should not be disengaged as it will add to the already compounded unemployment in the State.
