JAMMU, Oct 1: The Government today accorded sanction to the constitution of a State Level Coordination Committee to coordinate and resolve inter-departmental issues for setting up of institutions of Central Government like IIT and IIM in J&K.
Headed by Administrative Secretary Higher Education Department, the committee shall coordinate and resolve inter-departmental issues among the State Government departments besides coordinating with the autonomous institutions established under various centrally sponsored schemes for timely redressal of issues with line departments of State Government.
Administrative Secretary Technical Education Department, Chief Conservator of Forest, Jammu, Chief Engineer M&RE Jammu, Chief Engineer, PHE Jammu, Chief Engineer Public Works (R&B) Department, Jammu, Deputy Commissioner Jammu/Samba, Director IIM Jammu, Director IIT Jammu and Chief Engineer CPWD, North Zone Jammu are Members of this State Level Coordination Committee.
