‘Statehood, free electricity should be prime agenda’

JAMMU, Oct 12: The members of the All Party United Morcha (APUM) has said that restoration of Statehood, free electricity and regularisation of daily wage workers should be the prime agenda of the new upcoming government in J&K.
APUM in its meeting held in Jammu today congratulated the NC-Congress alliance on its spectacular victory in the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections. The meeting was held at the residence of former MP Sheikh Abdul Rehman under his chairmanship in which ALPUM’s leader ID Khajuria, Manish Sahni (Shiv Sena UBT, State Chief), Shahid Salim Mir, Narinder Singh Khalsa, Narinder Khajuria, Comrade Subhash Mehta, Sunny Kant Chib were present. The members of APUM appealed NC-Congress alliance to pass a resolution in the first Cabinet meeting regarding restoration of State status, 200 units of free electricity, regularization of daily wage workers besides restoration of Darbar Move practice.
They announced full support to the coalition Government so that the promises made in the manifesto can be fulfilled. They also congratulated the people of Jammu and Kashmir who rejected deceit, betrayal of the communal forces.
