Stationery Department employees support call for pen down strike

JAMMU, Nov 10: All J&K Stationery and Office Supplies Department Employees Association has extended its support to the call for pen down strike on November 16-17, by Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh All Department Clerical Staff Association.
Decision in this regard was taken during an emergency meeting of the Association, held today under the chairmanship of Babu Hussain Malik, president of the Association.
The meet reiterated the demand for implementation of the High Court order vide SWP number 3058/2015 and contempt number 25/2016 in letter and spirit, regarding removal of pay anomalies of the clerical cadre at an earliest.
The Association also highlighted the demands, like holding of DPC in all the department after every six months, increase in Medical Allowance, Dislocation allowance to the officials posted outside their home district and regularization of daily wagers.
Babu Hussain appealed to the all the Clerical cadre employees to come on a common platform to get their due rights and to take the struggle to its logical conclusion.
The meeting was attended Seva Ram Rathore, Udav Singh Pathania, Manjit Singh, Veerji Koul, Dalip Singh, Kuldeep Kumar, Jatwant Singh, Shavinder Kumar, Arvind Kumar, Chandu Lal, Mohd Iqbal, Pavnesh Kumar and others.
