JAMMU, Nov 8: All J&K Stationery & Office Supplies Department Employees Association in a meeting here, today held under the chairmanship of Babu Hussian Malik its president has urged the Government to solve the long pending demands of the employees of J&K Stationery and Office Supplies Department.
The Association made the appeal to Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, Finance Minister, Abdul Rahim Rather and Minister for Cooperation Stationery and Printing Dr Manohar Lal in this regard.
It said the employees of the department are facing many hardships due to non fulfillment of the demands and their future is totally bleak.
Mr Malik while highlighting the issues demanded opening of Stationery depots in the newly created eight districts of the State, amendment in SRO 365 which has spoiled the future of the employees of the department particularly clerical cadre and reorganization of the department to remove the stagnation among clerical cadre. He also urged the Government to release the pending DA installment from July 2013.
The other leaders of the Association who addressed the meeting included Seva Ram, Uday Singh Pathania, Veerji Koul, Dwarika Nath, Dalip Singh, Mohammed Shafiq, Kuldeep Kumar, Jaswant Singh, Mohammed Hussian, Dina Nath, S S Pathainai etc.
