JAMMU, Oct 5: A delegation of Jammu and Kashmir Statistical Non-Gazetted Employees Association called on Director General, Economic and Statistics Satvir Kour Sudan and projected employees’ issues.
The members led by Ravinder Singh, vice president of the Association, while welcoming the new DG on assuming charge of the post, expressed hope that their pending issues will be resolved shortly.
During meeting they appraised the DG regarding various issues faced by the department at various levels of JSAs, SAs and SOs. Most of the issues including DPC, promotion at various levels, in-situ promotions etc, were discussed threadbare during the meeting. Further, the issue of vacant posts and creation of posts in various offices was also discussed.
The DG listened patiently and assured the delegation that all the issues will be addressed amicably.
