Status of grievances reviewed at Ganderbal

GANDERBAL, MAY 28: A comprehensive review meeting to assess the status of grievances by concerned departments was today held at Ganderbal.

The meeting, chaired by Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Ganderbal, Gulzar Ahmad was aimed to evaluate the progress made in addressing grievances raised by individuals and ensure prompt and effective redressal.

The ADC took a detailed review of all pending grievances and also analyzed the resolution of resolved grievances.

He said that the grievance redressal processes have been streamlined to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of public service delivery.

He directed all the line departments to ensure transparency and accountability in the grievance handling mechanism.

The ADC maintained that effective grievance redressal is a cornerstone of a vibrant administration and urged all the officers to work in close coordination to ensure timely resolution of grievances and the overall betterment of the general public.

The meeting was attended by various district and sectoral officers.
