JAMMU, Nov 24: The General Administration Department today placed a Junior Stenographer of the J&K Secretariat (Subordinate) Services under suspension.
The Government employee, identified as Shabir Ahmed Sheikh was transferred from the office of Chief Executive Officer Jhelum and Tawi Flood Recovery Project and posted in the personal section of Advisor to the Chief Minister, Prof Amitabh Mattoo on 17-11-2017. The officer vide order No 1451-GAD of 2017 dated Nov 17, 2017 was deemed to be relieved but has not joined the next place of posting till date. Pending inquiry into his conduct, the said official was placed under suspension with immediate effect. He shall remain attached to the GAD till further orders.
