STIHL launches 90-day National Farm Mechanization tour

SRINAGAR, Aug 21: STIHL today launched a 90-day national Parivartan Yatra aimed at transforming farm mechanization across the country.
A spokesperson for STIHL said the ‘Parivartan Yatra’ is designed to revolutionize India’s agricultural landscape through advanced mechanization.  He said the yatra was flagged off today from Srinagar, marking the beginning of a nationwide tour that will cover over 72 cities across 11 states, culminating in Kanyakumari.
He noted that the National Parivartan Yatra is an ambitious initiative to educate and empower farmers with the latest tools, technologies, and practices in the agricultural sector. “Over the course of 14,000 kilometers, STIHL India will showcase its cutting-edge machinery and offer hands-on demonstrations to ensure farmers are equipped with the knowledge and resources needed to enhance productivity and efficiency,” he said.
He said during the tour, farmers will have the opportunity to witness live demonstrations of STIHL’s latest agricultural machinery, including tools designed to boost productivity and sustainability.
Speaking at the event, Parind Pral Nudesai, Managing Director of STIHL India, emphasized the company’s commitment to driving positive change in the agricultural sector. “The National Parivartan Yatra is more than just a journey; it is a movement aimed at revolutionizing the way farming is done in India. Through this initiative, we aim to empower farmers with the tools and knowledge they need to succeed in a rapidly changing agricultural landscape,” he said.
