POONCH, Oct 9: The police arrested a youth and recovered a stolen motorcycle from his possession from Jammu area today.
Official sources said that on June 25, 2022, a written application was received by Police Station Poonch from one Kuldeep Singh, son of Puran Singh, stating that his vehicle bearing registration No. JK12A- 4285 has been stolen by unknown person from Khari Mohalla, Poonch.
On this information, a case FIR No. 135/2022 u/s 379/IPC was registered at PS Poonch and the Police swung into action.
During investigation with the help of technical leads, the stolen vehicle was recovered from Jammu and one accused namely, Parvinder Singh, son of Rajinder Singh, resident of Lower Gadigarh, Jammu was arrested.
The arrest and recovery was made by Insp Ranjit Rao, SHO Poonch assisted by PSI Darminder Singh.
