POONCH, June 12: The police recovered stolen gun from the house of a villager in Surankote and arrested the accused.
The licensed 0.12 gun of one Abdul Ghani, son of Ghulam Mohd of Marhote in Surankote, had been stolen on April 20 this year. He had lodged a report with Surankote police. The police party under the supervision of SDPO Surankote, Ajay Sharma started investigation and today recovered the gun from one Mohd Fazal, son of Noor Hussain from Marhote village. He used to give threats to the people and locals got suspicious about his hand in the theft. A case FIR No. 55/ 2014 was registered against him.
