Stone remover squads

Sir,
Each day of rainy season witnesses huge accumulation of stones piled up on roads. It creates traffic disruption, road jams and inconvenience to the general public, particularly office-goers. Municipal Corporation (MC) of Jammu City could think of deploying stone removing squads on major roads and  city squares, particularly in areas down side of Srinagar highway like Channi Himmat, Channi Rama, Narwal Mandi, Railway Station, Railhead Complex etc. It appears to be an endemic and generic problem of entire city including old city of Jammu due to topography and geological reasons. Just as Kashmir Division including Ladakh has system of snow removing machines deployed by PWD  or NHAI, so also stone removing labourer squads may be deployed  in Jammu city. It should be deployed in planned way with the objective to remove stones and piles of garbage in quick and efficient manner, say within couple of hours after/during rains. Many roads do not have side drains on both sides, for example, in  Transport Nagar and other major roads. This unplanned management and use of roads causes hassles and repeated damaging of roads during rain within weeks of constructing structures. Jammu City Municipal Corporation may consider taking initiative on road management planning to facilitate efficiency of movement and convenience of traffic.
Yours etc….
