JAMMU, May 25: Ridiculing claims of National Conference (NC) president, Dr Farooq Abdullah that his party will form next Government on its own, former Minister and senior BJP leader, Bali Bhagat today asked NC stalwart to look into the vote share of his party before day dreaming.
“82 percent of the voters of Kashmir valley have out-rightly rejected NC and PDP in the recently held Parliamentary elections so before making such claims Dr Abdullah should realize the ground situation,” Bhagat said while addressing a gathering after inaugurating four km long Dehyaran-Mishriwalla road in Raipur-Domana constituency.
Sarpanch of Mishriwalla, Palvi Verma and other senior leaders were also present on the occasion. This road was constructed at the cost of Rs 37 lakh.
“Lok Sabha elections were eye opener not only for NC but also for PDP and Congress because people have rejected these parties,” Bhagat maintained.
Taking a dig at the NC leader for making tall claims, Bhagat said that votes secured by all the winning candidates of NC in whole State were less than the victory margin of one BJP candidate of Jammu province.
