Sir,
The uncalled for defections by our legislators in the country has remained a contineous process since democratic system came into existence. Our people elect members on the basis of their party ideology with the aim that their grievances are addressed properly. Once they stand elected they forget all the promises they have made with the voters during elections. It has been observed that our legislators enjoy power and perks in a prominent way. If power is perks the legislator becomes problem for those who elect them. Elected Govts are pulled down by the legislators for personal gains than to see public interest. Dal Badli gimmick gives rise to corruption and has weakened the democratic fabric of the country. Why Dal Badli? Who encourages this act to derail the elected Govts? Till to date we are unable to censor it in the country. Political parties split and go degraded in the eyes of the people. Notwithstanding obliging some westered political dan it destroys mandate of the electorates. A bill needs to be introduced in the parliament house in this connection and a law be enacted to wash this stain of Dal Badli in the Indian democratic structure. People of the country by and large understand the gravity of the defections that badly reflected health of our country. By enacting law defectors will be ineligible and face action.
